Grants and Loan Assistance Programs:

We developed the Community Champions program to show appreciation for those who serve the communities we live in. When used with eligible programs, our community champs will have their appraisal fee waived and, in some instances, even more! Community champions program can be paired with VA, FHA, USDA and Conventional programs. 

 

Eligibility

 

In order to qualify for this program, you must be employed full-time in one of the following professions:

 

Emergency medical technicians (EMT) registered with the EMT National Registry and licensed by state EMS authority. 

 

Fire department staff, including firefighter, drive, lieutenant, captain, battalion chief, district chief, deputy or assistant chief and all support staff. 

Police department staff, including police officer, detective, sergeant, captain, commander, deputy chief, chief of police, station master and all support staff. 

911 staff, including operator, dispatcher or telecommunicator. 

School staff (K-12 only) including teacher, nurse, principal, assistant principal, teacher's assistant, office manager and all support staff.

Lender credit up to $900

MHDC Loans: Missouri Housing Development Commission offers forgivable second mortgages:

Cash assistance equals 4% of the initial mortgage amount

Flexibility allowing gifts and a low minimum credit score requirement
